How can I tell if my 1996 Disco has airbags?

I bought a second hand 1996 Disco V8i last year, and have recently wondered if it has airbags. Not because I've crashed and they haven't gone off, just because I'd like to know.

So the question is, how can I tell if my Disco has no, one, or two airbags?

Several ways young Padawan.......

1 look in the middle of steering wheel and passenger dash (about where your head would hit in an accident) for a stamp in the plastic called either AIRBAG or SRS.

2 Look for stickers on the windscreen/door glass/sun visor or in the hinge area by the doors that show a picture of a child seat with a line thru it.

3 ASK YOUR FRIENDLY DEALER (Land rover that is, not your supplier of substances frowned upon by the state)

Alternatively, run in to a wall at 80mph. If you have an aitbag it should deploy.

If, not...well chances are you dont have one!
