Grinding sound from steering V8i

I don,t know if anyone has had this problem but....after a few miles when turning I get a grinding/graunching sound emanating from the steering seems to be o.k. first thing..when vehicle is cold ..any ideas..or is this too expensive to contemplate.

Did you check the Dexron Oil level (right side from radiator, level marking in the cap)?

Have checked fluid level and it appears o.k.
But......the hoses coming from the p.a.s. reservoir seem to be wet with fluid! I have tightened the hoses but still have the grinding sound and the hoses are still wet...I suspect this could be a steering box problem..but am not sure...any advice would be appreciated.................

Hmmm... The wet hoses are completelly normal.
If Level is O.K, then may be is a steering box problem.
You have to check grinding noise closely to be sure.
