Aye, that's what happens I guess at times... somehow. It was a ****** to get out of the dumbiron so I could remove the bumper.

That's an activity with a high-kuckle-skinning potential too.

to remove bolts from bumper, use socket with some form of extension bar on handle. therefore keeping hands away from metal bits. and yes i learnt that the hard way as well

To remove bolts from bumper go out and buy an air compressor and buzz gun with single hex socket set, result undone bolts, free bumper, and knucles with skin :p

Well when people pay £52 pound per hour labour for a Defender 90, then i think they deserve the job to be done quickly, so we can't play around with little spanners!

Looks like you need a better buzz gun :p

At least you get paid to do it, but then again, do you get paid if you do it to your own vehicle? :p

No, see, you are a proper mechanic, with a compressor, buzz gun and knuckles intact... I am a DIY mechanic with bloody spanners, bloody knuckles and bloody nuts!

You forgot the long wait, and the short stand, neither of which should be used when you are supposed to be learning to sweep the workshop floor! ;)
