I have a 93 range rover with 88,000 miles on it. She just recently started leaking power steering fluid. It's hard to tell where it is coming from. I just thought I would throw this out and see what you my think.

If the pump is the same as on my 87 3.5 EFI and the leak is from the shaft seal then I can post how it can be very cheaply repaired.
Does it have a cast steel front housing, Pressed steel 'can' body with a big hexagon union coming out the side of the can at the back. (this is where the flow pipe attaches).

I think you can buy a seal repair kit for the pump for about £20 which required you to 'carefully' remove the pressed steel plate - my local independant landy shop was more than happy to give me detailed instructions on how to do it so it might be worth giving them a call.
What you havent confirmed yet mad is if the leak is from the pump, the box or elsewhere.

First off, gunk everything and wash it. When it's all dry again start the motor and look for the weepy bit. A good way to start anyway. Mine leaked some time ago, it was the copper sealing washer behind the big connection on the pump. I just annealed it and refitted it OK.
