Who can help me, I am looking for some 9.00R16 tires or 255/100R16 for my expedition landy, preferably michelin, perhaps second hand. The new price is ridiculous down here in Botswana. Looking for a set of 6

The price here is aprox R3000-3500, the best might be to get second hand one from the military or something.

Just to give an idea; about 2 months ago I fitted 4 General Super All Grip 7.50x16 and they set me back R3800 (new tyres). So I reckon the 9.00 range will be more than that.

My local dealer (he always goes out of his way to find the tyres I need, so I'm sure he's had a god look for yours), tells me that the 255/100R16 is unknown here, and the 9.00R16 is not available as a radial either. He might be able to get cross ply's in this size though.

As far as he knows, these tyres are not imported into South Africa.
