I was talking to a friend who was reading the new street commodores magazine and he noticed a almost one page article on page 10
which was indirectly talking about other forums personally abusing the sc forums and the editor of the magazine some quotes that need attension:

1: "there have also been several run-ins with other forums and car-clubs posting info and trying to direct membership from our forums to theres"

2: " then we have the ego-trippers. these are people in charge of the clubs that try and make there own lil version of mafia or god knows what and want everyone to look up to them as the boss and act as there plebs"

3: 'they come into our club and numerous other forums dribbling crap how there forum is the best around and everyone elses is crap and its all because of them'

4: "for obvious reasons they are banned and run back to there forum and saying how others are out to get there club because there so pwerful. then they convice there lil minions to make a group effort to attak and spam our site for there own personal gain. NO REALLY THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS"

Now we are all pretty clue'd up people here,.. and I think we can read between the lines enough to see that the editor is probably talking about Land Rover lovers and Clubs in of the UK, I mean who does this jason chap think he is!

Looking at the rules of the SC forum, the article would be a case of calling the kettle black... the rules are so strict and forbidding, it is a surprise anyone can actually post on there without getting into some form of trouble.

1.2 No links to other forums in your signature is permitted (Car Domain sites and personal vehicle sites are allowed and encouraged). If you have pics of your car posted on another forum then you may post a direct link to that pic but not the forum. We are not here to advertise for everyone else.

At least we do not have such strict rules as this on here..

[QUOTE=street commodores]13.3 If you have a problem with BLOWN (me) then bad luck, I’m in charge of the forum and I make the rules.

What does the 'SC' stand for in the forums mentioned above? Is it a LR forum?

Cheers.

No, a Street Commodore is a make/type of car in Aussie land, a bit like a Holden, large engines, silly tyres etc... with lots of modifing done to them.
They then do that strange thing called cruising..

Not a bad car though,.. if only they could still make the holdens they had in Mad Max, big engine,... ****ty body:rolleyes:

BTW, the old commodores got a serious ass whipping by the Nissan Skylines in the 90's (thier version of tuoring cars),.. in fact it was so bad a whipping that they eventually banned them from racing down under.

The commodore IS however a great vehicle for the money.

But so is a landy..... and we never got beaten by no Nissan!:D
