hello, everybody, iam (as u see) verry new on this forum.and not even have a land rover !!me and me missus live in alice springs australia, and there is some good traveling to do there, and in general its verry refresching to leafe alice every now and than!!
so we want to buy a for wheel drive, something that takes us every were but also can pass by a road train,so had a bit of punch.
i had a look on www.drive.com.au (http://www.drive.com.au) and there are some nice looking cars on that site for less that 10 grand, and are around 10 years old, wich for me is pretty new, if you look at other brands like  toyota or nissan ;) youll find there heaps more expensive:D .
i dont know mutch about cars and iam wondering what would it cost to maintain a car like that? 10 years old 4wd.
and if we buy something like that what should i look out for,are any specifick problems with these models?
once the car is here i would like to do some tafe courses to get a bit more familiar with the machine!!
looking forward for the responces,
cheers from a rainy alice springs
