View Full Version : Cd Changer for my Disco 2

Hi all,

New to this site it looks fantastic many Landrover loving people.


Can any body help with some fitting instructions for a 6 disc cd Changer in my 2003 Disco i have c42 (22DC597/60L ) and a Landrover XQE100240 changer I have also phurcased the data cable from Landrover to go betweeen the two but it would appear to have a spare cable have removed the pos supply and neg ground and looped them through the changer with the supplied conectors but there is a spare wire and i can not find where this goes,

At preseent the changer power up and checks for disc's but the head unit does not see it when the mode switch is pressed.

please can any body help

Is the spare cable brown or orange if so it may be for the radio mute for when useing a mobile phone on hands free

Thank you very much for your help with fitting instructions i will try and see if the spare wire on the data cable should be fitted in to port 7 on the radio head plug. once more many thanks

The cable is white red yellow as per the instructions but my Landrover dealer who sold me the data cable told me this was not used ?

good to hear I could help you. I am not quite sure about the coloring of the cables. But if you want to have the complete manual for cd changer fitting, just let me know.
