I could not resist another trip back to the Clatterin Brig at the foot of the Cairn o'Mount after yesterdays fun.

Soooooo, taking the very long way into work, I had a play again. The burn, which normally trickles over the ford, is now a raging torrent. As I went through, I could feel the Landy lifting and being pushed down stream. The water was pouring through the near side door and I had visions of Noah and his Ark! Its not too deep, about 18 inches, but its travelling at such a speed it hits the wheels and gets pushed up the side of the vehicle.

Needless to say, I only went through it the once..

My garden is now awash and I cant wait to get home tonight for another play :D

Can only assume your in league with the gods, I buy mud tyres and we have a drought, your good self buys tyres complete with new landy and we get landrover weather not only that looks like its going to fine up for the weekend and will be among tatties, SO PLEASE OH GREAT ONE IN TOUCH WITH THE RAIN GOD WE NEED SOME MORE FRIDAY SATURDAY, and then maybe I can play out. If I work I can afford more bits but can't play and vice versa they never said life would have such difficult choices. Glad your enjoying the new beastie:D :D

I had better not tell you what I was doing tonight then :D

The loch in the garden is very full as the outlet was blocked...sooo...purely in the interests of safety I took a drive round it. This involves 2 major burns, 3 minor ones, a steep side slope with a muddy rut at the bottom, a bit of going through the trees, several long "splashes", a couple of wee climbs and muddy desents and climbs from the burns....

..and all this in the ****ing rain!. Sounds rather grand, but its a pretty short circuit...made up for by going round several times :p

I now know I can get the water over the bonnet of the TD1 without it cutting out
