I have a Land Rover Defender 90 V8 50th Anniversary.
I would like to convert to LPG for Obvious reasons, but which is the best type to go for?
Every one I ask has different opinions, i.e. fitters always recommend the one they fit.
But which is the best ( not the cheapest or most expensive but the best.
Any info regarding this will most appreciated.

Have a look on the RPi website or http://www.est-powershift.org.uk/ and http://www.lpga.co.uk/LPGA.htm.
I had a multipoint system fitted to my Santa Fé and after some teething problems is now OK.

Thanks for your reply Alan, Alan's the name here to.
I take it you recommend multipoint then.
Is your engine Injection? RPI look very good but also very expensive, If I had loadsa money I would get them to fit new 5.2litre engine as well.

I haven't got LPG on the Landy, on my other vehicle - see "soft roaders" forum. The motor in the Landy is a 4.6 and I got it for performance not economy. I endorse RPi as a satisfied customer.
I have injection on the Santa, and multipoint LPG.

Cheers for that Alan. All taken in I will be fitting LPG to Landy and getting some performance work done. i.e. RR box, transfer box and diffs. then cash permiting some engine tweaks.
