I drove home from the Royal South Hants this evening, along the A31. I like the road, it's so much more interesting than the M3 and I wouldn't have found my Disco without it, but it is dark. Really gloomy in places and it has slowly dawned on me that the Disco's headlights are pants. Can anyone reccommend replacement lamps to lighten my darkness?

Roger (Hello? Anyone there?)

I'd say first off make sure the light lenses are clean, it's shocking how much of a difference getting rid of the road crap stops light.
Failing that, I'd go with fitting HID lamps. They use less energy but put out more light and the light they do put out is higher in the light spectrum.

Coincidently my wife works RSH from time to time in radiography, small world.

Thanks guy's - I'll look in my local for those suggestions Bilgerat. Clean is a good idea - some of my off road enthusiasm last week may not be helping!

Radiography would have been where I was; routining the CT scanner.
