View Full Version : The snow in Spain stays mainly in the same places as everywhere else...

Went up into the mountains about two weeks back, did some trails that one month before were dry and dusty and now some of them are closed off until april!

If anyone fancies a dabble in the snow....:rolleyes:

The majority are in the Cerdanya (Spanish side) although the snowier ones are from France near Les Angles. I am amazed how good the def is on ice! I drove down (slowly of course) some fairly serious trails which were a few inches deep in solid ice, no chains, just the BFGs A/Ts. Damn this thing is good!

Will be going up again this saturday to do some snow shoeing (or so Mrs Spanish Bob thinks!). And again between christmas and new year and again for..................

try it on two wheels! Did the Elefantreffen this year (January), its in Bavaria close to CZ and Austria, nothing like camping 20 below zero with thousands of fur-wearing bikers. :D Actually they are top people, much better than at other (normal) biker meets

Nice phots Bob.

I managed to get up to (from Gib) Sierra Nevada in the hope of doing some tracks in the snow but as soon as you get up into the snow covered areas all the roads were closed.

Make the most of it Bob.
