Morning all
Myself and a few accomplices are spending the weekend of 28/29 January around the Rhayader area doing a few lanes. If anyone is interested in joining us, you would be more than welcome to.

Hi Bill,
Just picked up this post, just being new to the forum I hav'nt found my around it yet.
Did we see you up there over the weekend. I was in a green TD5 crew-cab up from Essex, the other one with me was a Camel 110. We did a bit of the Elan and Strata Florida too. Sorry to see so many Fr*nteras from their owners club tearing up the ground around SF and going 'off piste' wherever possible. But as they were travelling in a group of TWELVE, we just waved them through....
Sarn Helen was pretty icy going Sth to Nth, ramblers were friendly though.....
Hoping to get back over in March,
Regards,
Bog.

Hello Bog
No mate, wasn't us... we were a bit further North.
The only people we saw was a guy in an Ibex, and a farmer with a puncture on a quad. We had this bit of Wales all to ourselves! Some pictures below, for the full story have a look at the album here:

BTW, Saturday night was -7 degrees. The handbrakes on the disco and the 90 both froze onto the drums!
Brrrrrr

Bill,
I have just whizzed through all your photos on the link, outstanding effort and BIG respect. We wimped out at a B&B in Builth. Can't beat that weather and those skies.
Cheers,
Bog.

To be fair, we had more coldweather gear with us than a troop of penguins!
We were only cold when either of our qualified chefs were too busy to rustle us up a quick gourmet meal :D
As the old saying goes, any muppet can be uncomfortable!
