First Overland Golden Anniversary

Hi Folks

We'll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the First Overland (The Oxford and Cambridge Far Eastern Expedition). 2 of the original expedition members, Tim and BB, will be here as guests of honour.

If you're in Singapore and would like to join in, please email me for details.

Highlights include a convoy of land rovers led by a S1 retracing the original route in Singapore, and a screening of film footage from the original expedition. Bring your own chairs and beer!

Well unfortunately can't make it to Singapore but I did pick up a copy of the book today. Looks like being an entertaining read.
