Here some piccys of Landys that we saw in Angola.

You basically see very few types of vehicles - Land Rovers of all shapes and ages, mostly Series and Defender. Also loads of Toyota Minibusses that would never pass a roadworthy test in any civilised country, Toyota Landcruisers and trucks.

All vehicles older than two years have visible damage of some sort, usually frame / suspension or both plus body damage.

Hmmm I know what you mean! One of the most interesting things I remember seeing in Lagos was a Land Rover Graveyard and recycling area!! :rolleyes: If you needed anything they'd strip it off a dead vehicle! :D

No Toyota minibuses, we had VW campers/minibuses! :eek: Shocking how many people can fit in those, even when its back is broken!! :rolleyes:

I have seen 19 passengers get out of a 15 - seater Toyota Hiace Minibus with trailer for the luggage. Two of those passengers were women with children on their laps that are not counted in the 19. This was in Namibia though.
