There I was, mingling in the crowds, dressed in the usual land rover clobber, (Poloshirt, jeans, and jacket, all brought from Billing over the years) when I thought I had got away from introducing myself. FLASH! some rotten bar steward had switched the spot light on me!
So here I am, Yes! I have finally got time to post on the website. I am a very busy person, (contary to beleif!) as I am on the main committee of the Range Rover Register.
OK! so I am a woman, but I have been known to strip out and replace the engine in my Range Rover in just over 8 hours!
Range Rover History!
Up untill Tuesday 21st March, I had 4 steds to my name.
JV, my very first Range Rover. 1983 ex director factory run round at Lode Lane. (4 door, 3.5, auto)
LN, a Vogue SE built in 1994, auto again of course
Orange, my 1984 NOW off roader, see avatar, again auto
Last but not least, TiKKeR, which went to a new home on Tuesday,
That was a 1978 2 door that had had a lot of work done on it, although it was still standard in all ways! OK! so it had 2" lift harderned springs on the rear, but thats cos the Borge unit had gone. Also a waterproof distributor (Brilliant for deep water, and NO stalling!) but that was all!
I lost my temper one day and moved the C posts froward, making a boot area after the old man refuesd me taking a chemical loo in the car when we went to Wales.
My son has a Stage1 series 3 Land Rover, as well as a G plate Range Rover Vougue SE and a Bobtail Range Rover, which is up for sale! (Big ******, lifted everywhere and blocking the light in my lounge.)
So, thats about all we have in the way of Land Rover products.
