Can you help need to remove old fuel sender unit the bolts are corroded, i have soaked them in wd40 any advice on the easiest way to undo these without damage to the fuel pipes etc :rolleyes:

Hate to say this but if the heads are corroded either try a very good pair of vice-grips or its time to drill out the old screws ! not a nice job.

If you are on about the screws holding the sender unit cover down then either do as STRANGE ROVER said or use a grinder (always my prefered choice). If you are talking about the union nuts on the fuel pipes, I'd first give them a tap with a hammer then try a spanner or use plumbers (slip-joint) pipe grips, I've found when it comes to land rovers WD40 is rubbish, if the screws/bolts are corroded then even if you think you've saturated it really all thats been achieved is washing the surface dirt away, if there is space for the oil to get in then screw/bolt doesn't need it. A large pot of elbow grease, a grinder, a hammer and pipe grips are my surgical tools!
