No, sorry can't answer your question.
In what way is spraying better?
In terms of security, film is better, it is far more difficult to shatter a film tinted window.
I would imagine you would have to remove the windows to spray them, if so then you also get a better job with film when the windows are removed.
I think you'll also find that film is more resistant to scratching.

i tend to agree with Kevin...... I am not sure about the local authoroties up there but down here window tinting is prohobited unless you get a special permit. So keep that in mind too

I have used the tint film in both my Discover and my 130. It's fiddly to put on, but is worth the effort.
I don't know any one who's used the spray-on window tint, but I'd imagine it would be a real pig to get an even shade across the glass?
Surely you'd have to remove the glass from the car to spray it on? Thats a lot of masking off.....the entire inside of the car.
We have several brands available to us here in Dubai. 3M is 7 years warranty against fading and costs a fortune compared to the cheaper 3 year variants. Many people are tempted to go for a dark film to stop prying eyes inside the car, but a 30% tint is more than enough to stop the UV rays and heat build up inside the cab.
Get the film.

Hi Darren.
A roll of 30% black film... enough to do a Discovery will set you back about 30 pounds.
The only problem area is the rear door glass. It's a very big piece of glass and you either have to buy a single roll of full width film to cover it..... or be prepared to use two sheets and a have a join at the bottom. The first time I did mine I had the join..... you can't see it.
The second time I was lucky to get an off-cut from a big roll and covered the rear door with one sheet.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Streaky.
