hi all just been working away at trying to cheaply update my 300tdi after shockers/tyres/exhaust/brakes/etc i think it is now time to consider contemplating doing something with the gear box as now i find i have to double clutch when changing down and up into second could anyone please advise and remember disco funds are getting so low cheers:D

Have a look at difflock.com and their Evolution 1 gearbox oil. It costs about the same as MT94 (not as cheap as ATF) but allows you to change from 2nd to 1st even in sub zero temps. It also significantly reduced the crunch I got when changing from 2nd to 3rd in a hurry. Well worth the £40, or so, including postage.
