View Full Version : Leaky gearbox?????

I have a small amount of oil coming out from the gearbox where the prop shaft joins the gearbox. Have been told to use gearbox stop leak?? Is there a gasket around that area that i could change with ease????

just a little puddle after driving. You can clearly see that it is coming from the gearbox were the prop joins.

does it seem bad? if its only a small leak then its probably best to just leave it, and keep an eye on the oil levels

there was quite a big puddle the other day but since i have topped up levels, it is only a little

id just leave it then :) they all have leaks from all over the place... its just what they do. just keep the levels topped up
