Early Freelander TDi wanted

Hi,

I'm looking to get a very early 'baby hippo'. It needs to be a diesel as I tow a large caravan, and I can't afford a V6 as they are too new (boo-hoo).

Ideally I'd like a very early 3 door hardback, but I'll consider anything at the right price. Not bothered about travelling to see one, but I'm in Cambridge (UK) so the nearer it is the quicker I'll be able to get there.

Anything anyone sees or has for sale themselve I'd be very greatful of details.

.. had a go in my cousins Td4 at the weekend, want one even more now !

The 5 door might be better though, that little window for the rear passengers in the 3 door might cause the kids trouble - though they do like the idea of the lift off roof :)

I know what you mean about the TD4, I am trying to get my other half to change the Rover for a five door TD4 for everyday use. Must try and make more effort to get a test drive of one for her.
