egr blanking plate

hi folks,
sorry to bring up old threads,but i`ve just put in the egr blanking plate on my 300 dti,but it may sound a stupid question ...do i have to unplug the wiring thats attached or just leave it as it is ?

Leave the wiring "as is". The ECU (if fitted) doesn't kick out any error codes then.
