Hi everyone (And Fellow Landy Loonies) My name is Jon and I live in Kidsgrove near Stoke on Trent,I'm 39 with 3 Kids,2 girls, One nearly 17 and one nearly 15 (And That Is Why My Hair Is Going Grey And Falling Out) And a Son Aged 7 and I am the Proud owner of a Series 2A 88" Rag Top Which I Saved from an Undignified End on a farm, And converted from a Pick-up (with a harvey frost jib on the back) to a Soft top (With Roll Cage). I've owned it for about 8 years now and I also have A 1985 110,A 1969 109 And I am currently doing up A 1951 80" Series 1,Which was passed over to me last year when my Father Died, (Oh And I Have An Understanding Wife)
I'll post some photos of my Series 1 (even though it's not yet finished) and my Series 2A tomorrow if you would like to see them,because I like to see pics of other peoples Landy's Especially if they have done the work on them themselves to restore them to their former glory (Rather than taking them to the Garage or Bodyshop or Classic Restoration Specialist and give them a blank cheque) I like to hear from ordinary people who love their Landys and I love the feeling of completing a repair or renovation to a Classic Piece of British Heritage,Cheers for hearing me out..:D
