Hi I'm Racingsnake, and I have owned Land Rovers since the early 90's. In actual fact they are the only thing with four wheels that I will buy. I know most of the foybles of the older land rovers and am a qualified welder so am willing to help anyone with such requirements in the SE of England. My career has also enabled me to spot ringers (stolen motors with false pars) especially landies from a mile off. So if you want advice about what to look for and avoid this nightmare when buying a second hand landy give us a shout.

Chow for now

Snakey.

No I'm not a car thief, I catch the 'orrible little oiks for a living and put 'em behind bars, where they belong!!!! That is if the government don't go and release them.

I'm based in Orpington, Kent which isn't that far from the Dartford River Crossing.

Thanks mate, your clearly a complete fruit bat, being the owner of my favourite bike. I would also judge from that, that your off roading style is similar to mine, ie if you ain't breaking it you aint trying hard enough.

Well if you need a hand repairing bits, you can give us a shout. I,m curently doing a full ground up rebuild on a series III 88". Taking a while cos work and the missus nagging me to finnish refurbing the house are getting in the way. I've replaced and refurbed a few axles in my time.
