Before I go and buy a set of wheelspacers...
Has anybody got a set of Hub-centric wheel spacers for sale... not the normal flat type.
The only people who I can find that sell them are Scorpion (:( ) and Devon 4x4 (I think)... these are also the only two people who sell TUV approved jobbies.
I'm not a fan of the flat type....
I know a lot of people run the completely flat type without any problems... but IMO they're not the best design to go with alloys.
A standard alloy wheel locates on the centre of the hub, and not just on the wheel nuts.... which can mean (if an alloy is used on a flat type) you may get some balance issues as the wheel isn't completely central... and not correctly supported.
Whereas, the TUV approved design (hub centric type) have small tabs that make the wheel centre correctly, and act as a load bearing support.
After all that waffle, has anybody got a set going spare???
