The Duck is back ! Cheap MOT !.Just a couple of bits ! !Happy happy !

It's the first time the "Duck" has not passed her MOT just a Track Rod end and a Off side headlight unit.:dance:

Not bad for the three years that I've owned her (3 years on Thursday to be exact)

With the exception of the cost of the MOT and the obvious personal additions and Tyres there have been no blindingly expensive problems to pay out for :)

So it's replace the Head lamp unit and on with a new track rod end !

Happy Happy Happy...makes up for the attempted theft on Sunday evening :razzler:

Sorry to hear the news of your recent break in attempt, I don't need to tell you to make sure the new bits are fixed on good and proper:D , I got the original alarm with my disco when I bought it, no remote though, so I ripped it out and fitted an American system, it has all the normal features, but its also got a proximity detector with it that sends an alert to a pager when someone gets too close for comfort. So you always know if someones paying a little more interest than they should.

That sounds like a good idea,

I have been playing around with the idea of a "Mech Lock" device that I mentioned in the defender forum.This seemed like quite an attractive idea.

I have real concerns now as for the next 3 months this theiving activity increases with the schools being out.

Not every group of young people are bad.Just a small minority.

With the Disco now through its MOT today,it is time to fit all the camping gear,tooling,recovery kit and so on.this makes for a very attractive piece of kit sitting proudly for all to see.:(

Right I'm off to put everything back in an on now the MOT is done !!!
