Disco II Sat Nav Wiring

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is an exsisting wiring loom for a sat nav unit fitted to a Disco II V8 ES on a 52 plate.

I understand that wiring looms are fitted in some cases for other additional extras etc.

Ive got a kenwood multi media head unit and amp fitted, and ive just discovered a GPS sensor! So possibly the previous owner had the OEM sat nav fitted?

Any Ideas anyone .... please!

If it's the landrover fitted kenwood system you should be able to connect the sat nav dvd player to the amp,is the amp fitted under the drivers seat

is it a KVT-920DVD

Hi,

Its a Kenwood KVT - 925, with a kenwood amp under the drivers seat. I've a HK amp under the passenger seat also!

The above kenwood kit is not a standard LR fit....I think! I maybe wrong though!

I know that my new Kenwood KNA-G520 Sat Nav Hard drive will fit directly into the Kenwood amp under the drivers seat, but my aim is to connect the power, car spped harness, reverse lamp harness and parking brake detection swich cables myself.....this is why I ask if a sat nav harness is already installed on these beasts.

I will have to trace this little green GPS antenna already located at the rear offside of the car and see where it brings me out at.....somewhere nice i hope!

The kenwoods where fittied to limited/special edition landrovers ie i have a lomand edition landrover only available in scotland and fitted by a company in falkirk on behalf of landrover

Are you in Scotland ?????

No im not in Scotland, however I did by the car just north of Glasgow and Its a Scottish reg!

May I ask whats the key fob for. Mines got a little blue key fob.....what does it do?
