Just purchased a 2001 TD4 and so far the Drivers window regulator cable has snapped twice. Has anyone else had this problem, Can you buy another cable or do you know any companies that refurbish the old one any help would be appreciated.

Second failure could well have resulted from incorrect replacement after the first. Check that the window glass slides freely in the guides (with the winder clamps disconnected)and that there are no obstructions within the guides and glass in their installed position in the door.
Refurbishing the cables alone is relatively straightforward, do-able by any cable dealers (Assuming no damage to pulleys, winder spool etc) just make sure they get the lengths correct, all the fittings on and right way round, and that the end crimps mate correctly with the spring loaded tensioners. This will make rewinding the unit much easier. If you get lost, the drivers door unit is essentially the mirror of the passenger door,
