Hi

Have a 1990 Discovery 2.5TDi (in my profile pic) - 3 door, long MOT, just had:

New front Prop
4x new tyres
New Swivel pin (o/s)

176k (svc history up to about 130k)
Cam belt changed at 172k (when I bought it)
New (recon) power steering box
Head skimmed at 80k

Interior shows usual wear & tear for a 13 year old Landy!

Spec

e/w
c/l
cat 2 immob
3 door
headlight wash
7 seats
roof rails

Anyone interested?

Darren, if you were selling instead of swapping what would you be looking for cashwise ?

Hi Old Fart

I don't know - I swapped it for a 1998 Peugeot 306 Diesel Estate, so not sure of value!

took a little finding but I guess this is your disco!

please explain 'usual wear and tear' to interior. is it ripped, stained or just grubby?

Hi Gary - sorry, forgot to send link!

The inside is a little grubby - although is a lot cleaner than when I bought it!

The is a repaired hole on the drivers seat, and two on the back of the drivers seat ( that I will try to repair)

Apart from that, everything seems fine I think

Cheers

This is now up for sale - new job requires me to have a "more appropriate" vehicle - so am on the hunt for Range Rover/ Freelander type that will fit in a multi-storey in London!

Am hoping to get £2600 for the Discovery :p

MOT is to the end of April

Has had lots done & spent over last 9 months!

Call me (Darren) on 07734 470896 if you have any questions

The Hyundai Santa Fé is a good option - trust me, I have one!

Was hoping to stay with a Land Rover product (mis-guided loyalty and all that!) :p

My father has a series 1 Disco for sale if anyone is interested.

G reg, V8, LPG conversion, genuine 65,000 miles, virtually brand new MT tyres + new spare, 6 Months MOT. Excellent paintwork and dent free. Used for towing my brothers jet ski

I wanted him to keep it another year, so i could buy it.

He wants £3,250 for it. Sorry i cant supply a pic at the moment.

He lives in shrewsbury in shropshire and is coming over to Market Harborough in Leicestershire this coming weekend if anyone from around the area is interested.

Genuine sound machine. I will be sorry to see it go.

I know you are looking more towards a normal car but if i can do anything to keep someone in the L/R fold I will.
