Posessed Freebie?

When I shut my drivers side door quite hard (enough to make sure its closed) my rear window decides to open itself meaning i have to get back in turn on the ignition and close it only for it to happen again. Has anyone any idea whats wrong or is my freebie posessed?

If you have a 3 door check the small switch under the removeable back(right hand side)it could be that

I concur. The three door has a microswitch on the off side under the removeable roof (about halfway up). Take the roof off, wedge it to make sure it is sitting correctly or put a stick a small piece of rubber on the top of it (carefully) and you will have no more problems. If however, it is a five door then I have no idea.

The rear window can be raised by using the key in the rear door. Turn key to the right and hold will raise window. I know it doesn't solve your problem but it will allow you to close the window without going back into the vehicle.

Sounds like microswitch to me as well...was a bulletin a very long time ago about it!! you either fitted a new switch or put a spacer or something in, can't remember was way before my time!!

If that doesn't fix it you can do what Carl said till you find out whats wrong!
