Has anybody got one or use a ladder rack on a freelander i have been offered one but i dont seem to find any info on the web is a Genuine Landrover Freelander Ladder Rack (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290015632015&sspagename=ADME:B:SCO:UK:1) Please help thanks

I use the Mantek one. Never seen one like that before. The Mantek one bolts onto the rear wheel and works exceedingly well (was up and down it twice a day in Morocco for 3 weeks)

Hi.

The rack is for putting ladders on, not climbing!

However, I could be wrong.

Yes it is one for putting ladders on, as seen on the top of telecom vans and other service vans and usually bolt to the cross bars.

Ken,
I've looked at the LR accessories and cannot find any reference to that part.

When ever I need to carry a ladder I just use the normal roof bars.
