Good evening, new kid on the block here.
Just fitted a K&N air filter to a 54 plate Disco TD5 Auto with some very noticeable improvement to pick up. Have been toying with a Twisted Performance Hi-power upgrade and wondered if anyone has fitted or fitted then quickly removed the "hi power" plug in? It's advertised as giving a 60 BHP increase which would liven things up in the town a little.....pimp my Disco and eat a Corsa in the process.
In addition - a word of warning to any LR owners living in the Crawley area using the local main dealer. I was quoted £360 for a 24k service and was presented a bill of nearly £540 for the additional replacement of 2 headlamp bulbs and the resolution of a problem with the aircon pumping water back into both footwells (blocked apparently) After standing my ground for 20 minutes the bill was reduced to £348. Sure some of you have experienced main dealer overpricing in the past but my thoughts were "how many people would have just paid and gone"?
