After getting a thorough soaking while out fishing i`ve finally decided to get myself a pair of salopettes. Can anyone recommend a good quality make, preferably in green or blue. Could`nt wear these sailing type in dayglo orange or yellow, probably scare the fish!!!

ESP (drennan) do a good bib and brace which is fleece lined down to the knees, highly recommended.

I used to do a lot of hiking and one year I got a pair of Berghaus ones that have been fantastic. Over the shoulder straps, and almost full length zips up the sides, with velcro strapping at different points on the leg.
Got them from a mountaineering store that was having an end of season sale. Should have been £150, reduced to £30! Are (were!) bright shocking red though......did have them in dark blue apprently, but I was too late!
I've always used Berghaus stuff and never had a problem. Serious kit.
