Hi I am off to Morocco in a few months in my S2a Landy, it is currently fitted with a soft top. What do any of you travel experts out there think is everything I own going to get nicked or will I be ok??

Change it to a hardtop. Or sew razorblades all over the inside of the softtop:D :D :D

Yes, and no, in that order.
A hard top and/or fully lockable lockers for everything are a must.

If you're asking that question, go to South Wales instead.
Security won't be an issue if you're staying with your vehicle. Dust ingress will be the biggest problem as even a hard top suffers from it. Doors shut, AC on and blower going full for a positive pressure!!:D

I'd beg to differ. Even with two people to guard the vehicle, in a tightly knit crowd it's just so easy to slip a hand under the canvas and take whatever happens to be there.

Done 4 Morocco trips and always been in close proximity of the vehicle with doors unlocked and windows open and never had a problem.
Equipment and belongings within the vehicle (if stowed correctly) will be lashed down in boxes so the opportunist thief who wants a quick grab and dash won't have a chance.

If you're going to keep the soft top, put a 1" weldmesh cage inside it so nothing can get out and no hands can get in
