another dumbass question

apologies in advance!

this may sound stupid but i am a bit frightened to get too rough with my pride and joy! i was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if freelander wing mirrors fold in?

the reason is that i cant quite fit it into my garage.
the hippo ears stick out too much and its like the krypton factor trying to get it in the garage. not something i want to do everytime i fancy a bit of a drive (nearly every twenty minutes...i am still in the honeymoon period with my freebie!)

i have got the electric adjustable mirrors on a 98 freelander.

i did try pushing them about a bit but got a bit scared!!!!

Steve no the mirrors on your freelander will not fold,I had the same problem getting in and out of the garage I changed the drivers door mirror to the folding type that is fitted to the later vehicles the price was £65 from land rover but it makes the task a peace of cake,if you want to change let me know and I will send you the info to swap the mirrors as there is some work involved but will only take 30 mins top,and it is an easy conversation.garry

maybe sometime in the future i may decide to change the one mirror but for now i think i will leave it be.
