can the front seats diaphragms be replaced without the whole frame as stated by Land Rover

The parts are certainly available separately - AWR2416 and MTC9931 - but I can't find anything in the manual about reomving / replacing them ...

thanks for the pn,s Land Rover said i had to buy the whole seat base,as for fitting i'll let you know after this weekend as i've just ordered 2 from Land Rover strange that now i have the part number they are suddenly available seperately funny old world.

well got the diaphragms today and it is obvious they ain't gonna fit my seats nothing like the originals,apparently they only fit discovery electric seats or late classic manual seats that's ******ed it revert to plan b find a set of recaro from escort etc and nail them in

Try Nationwide Trim http://www.nationwidetrim.demon.co.uk (http://www.nationwidetrim.demon.co.uk/) I remember a customer once getting a couple of diaphragms off them a few years back.

If its for a Disco 1 with leather seats, not electric, then i bought some rubber seat bases from John Skinner in Cirencester, Glos. They come with some wire clips and by using these and the ones already on the seat you can repair the seat so it is infact better than original.
