Clutch -- Question

i am taking my td5 in for 36,000mile service when i am going to get the input shaft oil seal replaced under warranty, my question is should i get the clutch replaced at the same time as she has only done 36,000miles?

or would it be a false economy not to bother??

I would have thought it would be down to how much it was worn or if it was contaminated.

I've had clutches that lasted up to 80k so by that measure, it's not even halve worn.

Are you keeping it that long?

Dont believe it is contaminated, not slipping or anything.
i will probably be keeping for another 2 0r 3 years so i guess it will last

can you actually see the friction face on the clutch when the gearbox is seperated or is it enclosed in a clutch housing ? If the have to unbilt the clutch housing to check the condition they might as well just put another one in??
