Following on from my last thread.
Has anyone got an LPG'd DII and if so how much did it cost and have you had any problems?
I am familiar with LPG as I have had my 101 on it for six years now and haven't looked back (well not often anyway :D ) and have been through the set-up issues myself. I don't want to get involved in any installation myself as it will be my company car but I do have a very good converter locally in Fflynt.
Cheers

Hi there by D11 is on LPG, its a BRC system, it was converted before i bought it
Its a multi point conversion, witch is best for the 4.0 it is possible to fit a single point but after you have destryed a few air boxis the cost difference is small and they are much more relyable
There is a differnt engine note when on lpg but no loss in power
I have had 2 issues with this kit in the 12k i have put on the car
1. sometimes all the lights on the fuel gage (lpg) flash ... intermitant and as it does not affect running i have left this one
2. buy the vaporisor the pipe split, jurry rigged it with duct tape and jewble clip and got this pipe swaped out at a lpg garage
I have been told that my conversion would have cost between £1700 and 2.5k!, it has underfloor tanks replacing the fuel tank and a new aux petrol tank
I dont have a recept for the work as i bought it of a guy who is LPGA aproved and it was his personal truck for 18 months its LPGA certified that made it easier to insure...
other comments i have a operational capacity of 60L as thats when the valvs start to shake and i dont want to dammage them ...
this gives me between 150 - 200 miles range
hope this helps and if you have any more questions drop me a PM
