Hi Guys,
I'm totally new to the site and this is my first post so here goes!

I have a 1999 TD5 and have noticed I've got wet carpets. It is even spreading to the rear footwell. I've read through a lot of the threads on this subject, but can anyone give me specific advice to the series 2 problems. The headlining above the windscreen pillar on the passenger side is getting wet and the water has been dripping off the sun visor. Do you know if the sunroof problems on the series 1 were inherited with the series 2? Any history of roof rails letting water in?

Cheers,

Pops.

If you have air-con then it is most likely to be the air con condenser drain tubes that are blocked.

More info on the thread: http://www.landrovernet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68796&highlight=wet+footwell

Same happened to me only last week :(

Good luck

Do a search for "Drainage holes sunroof". A thread there started by Eagle USA should help. But there will be lots of threads on this topic.

I would give the sunroof drainage holes a looking at.
When the rear one blocked up on my 300 it soaked the rear seats, the headlineing and filled the rear footwell in 1 night of rain.
I was on holiday in Switzerland at the time....deep joy:(
