blue smoke

HELP BLUE SMOKE :eek: My disco has started blowing blue smoke out when you start her up (hot or cold) and she seems to be running a bit rough and has lost a wee bit of power,having just bought the thing i have no idea when it was last serviced,maybe if i have time i will service it this weekend but if any one has any ideas in the mean time i'm all ears .:)

yeah your right it would help if you had more info :o it's a 2.5 tdi series 1 i think k plate 93

If it's blue smoke only for the first few seconds of running after starting up, then I would suspect it's leaking valve stem oil seals. But the power loss could also point to perhaps turbocharger issues?

How do i tell if there are turbo issues?.
