...can you remind him the rear step is held up by a wire, not a gas strutt. I'd feel terrible if he (or Dawn) stepped on it and the wire snapped.

...I'm sure I told him about it, but forgot to remind him.

tried to remind him but I think he is in hospital, something to do with broken shins.
