5 seat to 7 seat?

Hi all,

I now have a 5 seat TD5 Auto Disco2. (T reg).

Wondered if anyone had heard of retrofitting the additional rear seats to a 5 seater to convert to a 7 seater?

Does anyone know of a reason why I may not be able to do this?

As it's a disco2 they would be the forward facing additional seats.

No problem, L/R even prduced a conversion kit early on (but think this is now obsolete), form what I remember it could only be fitted to air sprung vehicles (weight limit?) but if you were doing it yourself I don't think there would be a problem fitting it to a coiller (In the same way as you can fit a bullbar but a dealer can't). Cost could be a problem £1.5-2K for the bits so you might need to find second hand.

I was thinking of trying to source a pair of seats from a write off somewhere.

Will have a look under the disco tonight and see if i've coils or bags !?!!!

Think it has ACE .. ?
