Hi welcome to the madhouse. Sorry i have no idea what's wrong with your electric's . But i like the idea of the dog with his head out of the sun roof. Laughing so much i'm having trouble typing. Can we have some pictures please? Bet no one tries pinching your disco? :D :D :D

Does the Disco TD5 have more than one fusebox? Don't rule out the simple things if you missed, say, fuses under the seats or bonnet and only checked the box under the dash.

I've had a poke around at work but the TD5s have all manner of additional electrics so I don't know what is original and what is not.

Cheers

I think the Disco in question is a 300tdi not a TD5 Blippie.

Hi belushi, my Disco's rear windows have a similar problem, but after a couple of miles driving, they suddenly start working properly again. This, I've been told is due to faulty unit/relay, not sure which ,somewhere behind the glove box.

Ah cheers Phil, went thru all the wires again last night and all checked out ok. did discover the 2nd relay wiring and didn't know where the actual relay was! will check out the glove box later on! I'll let ya know the result. oh and heres the snap landiemac was waiting for!

Just had a look at a similar post a little further down by Cam. Some good stuff there to help you find and repair the ecu.

I'm now going to go have several pints for all of you lads!;) and 2 for Phil and NomadABC !!!! took out the ECU and there it was. The same solder on the same manual relay totaly dry! re did all the relay legs just in case but I reckon its a manufacturer flaw when the board was made!
HOWEVER! the little people in the landy factory put this unit in  there's not a lot of working room in that little space... the 2 plugs bottom one in perticular was a complete b'd to remove because of its clip and you need to remove the panel under the glove box as well to get a right go.

Thanks again lads. you've made a young dog very happy:D

Nice one Belushi! Those pints will go down well. Sounds like the job will be a nightmare for me then--------I've got hands like shovels and fingers like pork sausages!
