Hello all
The better came back this afternoon in her disco saying she had no clutch at all, had a look at the master and slave everything looked okay so had a go at bleeding it no air in the systen, no air in the system then removed the slave cyl and noticed the push rod was going right into the bell housing, got to have a look inside and the arm that pushes against the release bearing has broke were it povits on the ball and that has pushed through, looks like this weekend then i will be moving the engine forward and fitting a new arm and clutch.
Fun Fun Fun and its forcasted to rain all weekend but its better than paying £500+ to get it fixed will post photos later when i get it out.

regards

Gearbox is easier if you have a ramp or pit but if working on floor then engine is easier as you have to raise body very high to clear stick if you are taking box from under vehicle - remember the job you are doing is in the bellhousing. The engine out is longer in time but you dont have to destroy half the interior to get the box out! Have fun.
