Real as in the sense that is made from Fragola grapes and not the commercial stuff which is fizzy white wine with colour and chemical flavours added to it. There is a ban in Italy on the selling of Real fragolino because of the potential of excessively high alcohol levels due to the grape variety being so sweet. It is a sweet wine, last night I tried a glass and then spent 90 minutes trying to figure out which way up the world was...

By fortune, I have two vines in my garden that were planted in 1972, and cover 29sqm, this year I have harvested 250kgs of which I've made 60litres of wine and the rest consumed or made into Grape Jam; recipe of which follow in another thread. here are some pics of the grapes the morning of "The Day of Harvest":

Looks interesting. Read your posts on the other forum. How's it coming along and when will you know how it tastes?

cheers! :D

it tastes like a very fruity and slightly sweet rosè, with a dry aftertaste of strawberries, slightly fizzy too.

Though it is fermenting still I've had conflicting advice on how long to let it ferment, check the previous link to see the updated pics.
