View Full Version : For info...long distance with roofrack 300Tdi MPG figures....

Took the truck,generally speaking,from Pau France via Alicante to Estepona Spain(return, over 10 days)with a roof rack(empty) with a total of 5 people.

Drove easy over the Pyrenees and then sat at between 120-130km/h whenever I could. The rest of the driving was scooting about easy in tourist mode in local towns/villages upon arrival.

For info of others planning long distance work this should give an indication what to budget for...

Brimmed the tank the night before in France with 88.48L costing 95,45 Euros(Note difference in second top up of same amount of litres in Spain...a difference of 30 Euros ie £20 roughly per tank:confused:)

All this to say average and budget for(24.48) 24.5mpg
