Me again...
Anyone have the correct tyre pressures for 18" Comet Alloys on 52 plate facelift V8 Disco II?
Handbook says one thing.....and guess what dealer says another!!
My trusted rubber being Pirelli Scorpion ST's on 255/55/18
Dealer says 28 front, 28 rear
Handbook says 30 front, 38 rear. (I've followed handbook)
Its a UK car and UK handbook!!!
For info....have driven 52k (on-road), on these tyres in the past 11months, due to be replaced early Jan, about another 5-6k left on them!
Worth a try for all you heavy mile munchers out there

28 for front & rear is a bit too low. on my DII td5, my handbook said 28 for front & 38 for rear. i find 28 front a bit low, tends to wear off at both inner & outer edges. push it to 30 & it is just fine. rear set at 38, per handbook. using pirelli scorpion AT. great rubber, much much better than the original GY HP wranglers.

i would trust the handbook over the dealer anyday, 30 / 38 sounds about right to me.
