i currently got a silverpigeon 12g and am thinking about tradeing it in partly for a silver hawk side by side. Am i gona struggle to hit anything with a side by side as i have learned to shoot with an o/u? Im not to concerned about the lighter weight and all that, as i only shoot the high tower when i go clay shooting anyway.

My kill rate is FAR less consistant on the rare occasions i use my s/s instead of one of my o/u's.
Could just be not used to it [only keep it as it was the first - many years ago  ] or could be that i have gotton too used to the different user style.

After borrowing a friends AYA2 I recently bought a Silver Hawk and practiced over several sessions with about 500 clays. I found the sight picture a bit odd to start with but like the fact it is a lot lighter than my Browning 525 O/U and is easy to swing quickly. The Silver Hawk is also a very pretty gun! See if you can try a SBS.
