Hello, welcome to the forum :)

Don't quite understand the question. You drive a diesel, and you want to convert it to ... diesel?

Maybe he maens so it will run on bio diesel?

If thats the case i have seen somone after a camping trip pour the excess cooking oil staright into his tank rather than carry it home! Think you can run bio diesel str8 or with a mix!

Just whatever you do make sure you pay the tax on the stuff.. walls have ears an all that.. It also stinks so old plod will spot you a mile off!

This vehicle is NOT compatible with 'Bio-diesel' fuel

Page 5 of TD5 Owner's handbook.
Enough said.

Is that any bio-diesel in a TD5 or just straight, as when I was in France this summer I was using their 5% mix and what a difference , smoother, quicker pick up, better MPG i.e. home to campsite just under a third of a tank remaining, return just under half a tank remaining, and with a 6 berth caravan not bad!

It could be the LPG conversion he's on about?

i know many people using straight sunflower oil , without any conversion @all (summer only, it thickens in winter) in the early models with bosch pumps.
