i own a series 3 109 ex militery truckcab thats lpg and i live in birmingham
its ma first landy and im 15 cant say much more hears a pic (if u r interested)


just in the middle of plating cleaning the chassie (thats why its a mess and the floor panels are up)

two1/4jim,
i havent long had her and im trying to get it started somthing wrong with the condenser its on order to replace
my dads m8 up the road has a rrc gassed up and it runs perfect i would reccomend it to any one my nan and grandad have a diso gassed up as well and runs great plus the place were they store the lpg to be disributed is just round the corner from us its about £9 for a full tank last time we filled the rrc up

Thats great having a place round the corner like that. I run a 110 2.5 hcpu on gas and its ten miles out of my way to go get gas which is a right pain in the 'butt talks' (Forest Gump was on the box last night). You probably know this already but lpg puts a lot more stain on all the HT circuit. so expect to replace the plugs, coil and points, conderser n all that a lot more often than normal. N12 yc (champions) sparkplugs seem to last longer n give better performance in mine than the standard N9.:) My brother has 109 ex-mil. but he's a donkey and has just let it rot in a bed of nettles for the last ten years:eek:

my plans with the car is to see if i can restor it and try and get it on the road then do a bit of off-roading its my first landy and i brought it as a project.

two1/4jim, your brothers got a ex mill rottin in some nettels, tell him i will give him a £10 i might even go up to £10.50 if he is lucky i could use some bits of it lol.
